I’m an author from the South Wales valleys, and a lifelong lover of books. Growing up, reading was my favourite escape, and I spent countless hours getting lost in stories, always dreaming of being published, although for a long time, that dream felt far out of reach.

I was especially captivated by Jane Eyre, a story I’ve returned to time and time again, and I also fell in love with Wuthering Heights. That early fascination with classic and historical storytelling grew into a lasting love of history, particularly the Tudors, which led me to visit Hever Castle. Stories, in all their forms, have always shaped the way I see the world.

With determination, hard work, and the encouragement of family and friends, I kept writing, and eventually that dream became a reality. Now, I write to offer readers the same sense of comfort and escape that books have always given me. I offer readers a place to relax, unwind, and step away from everyday life. My stories tend to be cosy, uplifting romances, but if you’re looking for something a little spicier, you’ll find that over on my website too.

I’m especially drawn to stories about relationships in all their complexity. I love writing romances with familiar tropes, because there’s something so satisfying about exploring them in new ways. I read widely across genres — from romance to psychological thrillers — and I’m endlessly fascinated by human behaviour, which is probably what drew me to writing in the first place.

About me

I treasure my friendships deeply and believe in the idea of found family. The people we choose as friends can become just as important as those we’re related to. I also believe we all have an incredible capacity for healing and growth, and that belief naturally finds its way into my stories. Life can be messy and challenging, but I’m always drawn to the idea that we can come through it stronger.

My own love story has certainly shaped my writing. My husband proposed in Times Square during a trip to New York, and he remains my very own romantic hero. We were married in the snow and celebrated with champagne in a rural inn.

I live with my husband and adult children, and when I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me reading, walking the dogs, browsing cottages by the sea, or cooking for family and friends. I also have a soft spot for rescue animals and dream of a home with some land so I can adopt more dogs, some chickens, and perhaps even a few donkeys.

I love hearing from readers and am always happy to chat via email or on Facebook and Instagram, so do come and say hello.
